Marinara Plant Food and Pizza, San Jose, Costa Rica
It was so fun styling and shooting this vegan pizza party at the Marinara Plant Food and Pizza kitchen in San Jose, Costa Rica. Marinara has super delicious pizzas, sandwiches, and cruelty-free fried snacks (the Chicken Free Fingers are 🔥) but they also run an all vegan delivery app! If you’re looking to get vegan food delivered in the San Jose area, the Marinara app has whatever you’re craving.
For this shoot, Marinara needed clear product shots of their featured dishes for the app and content for their social media. For the individual dish shots, I wanted to play up the power of the plant. I created a high contrast environment and lighting setup to highlight the way in which these filling plant-based pizzas and sandwiches rival their meat and dairy-filled competitors. For social media, I opted for more playful imagery by shooting overhead shots with lots of dishes to spark happy thoughts of festive pizza parties with family or friends.
